I can't apologize enough for this problem, especially to those of you that lost a fish because of a broken hook. We have completely changed hook manufacturers and are now using VMC hooks. We've tested these extensively with no problems before choosing them. The new hooks are red so you will know if a spoon has a new hook. Anyone wanting replacement hooks please email me at

A shout out to Capt Mike. Contacted him by e-mail yesterday and he responded within the hour with an offer to replace hooks for free. That's great customer service. Way to go Capt Mike.

Yet another shout out to Capt Mike. I emailed him with my spoon troubles and he quickly responded even though it was the Friday of Thanksgiving. Within a week he sent me a repair package that exceeded my expectations.
