Thanks for the aerial, Wevans. Mako needs to get his printer fixed and print that one. It's a little easier to tell, which end is up with it.
And yeah Eerman, lot of info batted around in the thread. Maybe some of it will help you, and the rest of us, get to know the area and how to fish it. I know, I need all the help, I can get..

Keep going past the old bridge pilings to get to Coopers Flat. It is when the river opens up and the channel is in the middle and in the summer lily pads are on both sides. I heard they used to do soldier training in the swamp and the bridge was to get to the swamp.
There aren't any fish in coopers flat or the ocklocknee for that matter.

I wasn't going to fish anyway. I was going to buy a jet ski and chase Wevans around

There is no closed season, or limit. on jet skis in that area.

The State Park, and the river, for that matter, are covered up with jet skis and ski boats during the warm months. That area belongs to the fishermen this time of year. And, this is the best time of year to fish that area.
Eerman, it would be worth your time to fill the boat up with gas and explore the area.
