I am thinking about bringing some extra beer I have left-over from last weekend. Free to all who want some. (Miller Lite)
Whoa, free beer :D . I guess I need to join the club to be able to enter the tournaments.........................................to be able to take advantage of the perks. How does a person become a member? Does a potential member have to be good at fishing, or simply enjoy it and be willing to work hard at it?

On a serious note, reads like there's good comraderie, competition and probably some good fishing knowledge being shared.

Ron, show up at C Quarters before 6:30 Saturday morning. You can join and enter the tournament there. You can also meet Jumptrout51. Then you'll probably change your mind and go back home.

Well... I'm still not thinking that I'm likely to participate... but, just in case, I have a couple of questions since more information has been developed. This alone will most likely result in my excommunication from the club due to rule #26. and the tournament will no longer be an issue.

Having absolutely no previous experience with the C river or the area to be fished:

1. How far from C-Quarters is the run to the river mouth?

2. With sunrise forcasted for 7:23, and blastoff set for 6:30, how tricky will it be for someone who has never run the river to make it to the mouth in the dark, regardless of where you put in?

3. I think it may have been mention previously but haven't been able to find it....what are the applicable fees and procedures at C-Quarters for launching?

While blast-off is set at 6:30, it will be just daylight around 7 and that is when most will go out. It's about 3/4 mile to the mouth and is a no wake zone all the way so no worries about RUNNING out  don't know about fees since I have never put in at C'belle "well once at the Tiki hut for a parts run for my father inlaw" :o
YER BORDERING ON TAKEN THIS THANG TO SERIOUSLY BUD :smt012 :-D

I'm fishing in a kayak, so do I have to leave that boat ramp or can I launch elsewhere and come back for the weigh-in?
