At this point we are still a go.

I spoke with Don England earlier this morning. He indicated that we would try to carry through with the event if at all possible. The Children's home only has certain dates where this type of activity will work. If this weekend doesn't work, the next available date would be much later in the year. Don said he would check the weather around 5am in the morning and try to email all those who he has addresses for IF WE CANCEL. My personal plan is to be there and unless it's crazy lighting, etc. I'll motor up the Saint Marks and play with the puppy reds, sheep's head, mangroves, etc. If I can get out on the flats I will. Even if I can get in a couple of hours I'll try it. My decision will be largely based on how my young angler feels about it and his comfort level. If he's not up to it or seems apprehensive, I'll adjust my plans accordingly.

Folks -

The kids are pumped to go fishing. Those that have been out before have talked to the others and they are all excited.

The weather looks good and I'll keep an eye on it. Check the posts in the morning. If there are any changes, I'll let you know then.
