New management at Presnell's said they would appreciate your business...mentioned it to them the last time I was there.

You are probably right,it is one of the most fun locations of the year.

Also ask them to open early for the registration to be held inside the store.
They have been very supportive of the club and will most likely do it again this year.

They haven't for 2 years but you just wait for 'em to sign and weigh in.

Chalk, what is the deal? New managment or new ownership? New philosophy on customer service and timely arrival of employees or same service new face? what is the launch fee? Will they still rent boats? It is certainly a prime location and I would love to do business there and refer others who stay at CSB, but I won't if the changes are smoke and mirrors.

Capt. Allen is running the place - he is a guide you have seen there before. launch fee was dropped, new paint, new roofs, new ponton boats. Lets just put it this way... I was using the city ramp with the old management team afer two dirty notes left on my truck and I am now going back. He only asked that you not clog up the ramp at launch and during weigh in, plus a call ahead would help as well.

Chalk, when you say the launch fee was "dropped", does that mean there's no longer a launch fee or just dropped from $10. to something less?

Guys with the bigger boats might want to launch at the city ramp because of how steep the ramp is at Presnell's. I have seen plenty of fiberglass laid down on that ramp with boats larger than 20' on a low tide.

Did you decide if you're fishing yet John? Going to join us for a drink Friday? Maybe stop by the Herron?

Chalk/BH, you guys playing?

Ashley, are there any restrictions on launch sites? Do we have a mystery fish species yet?
