The one that BMan has has a t-handle at the top. What's the DIY solution to the handle and rope attachment?

Update:

Last weekend when I went out scalloping, I stuck the pin after cutting the engine, but not coming to a complete stop. The pin held, but the t-handle came loose. Looking at the pin, the 5200 let go of the plastic handle. Going to remove the 5200, reapply, and through bolt it with stainless.

Update #2, lost the pin on tuesday when going out scalloping. Waves were 2-3 or 3-4, it was rough. Best I can figure it bounced out of the two holders I had retaining it outside the gunnel. Learn from my loss, keep something tethered from your pin to your boat.

8' Powerpole Sportsman model (2017 Version) ......best $ I ever spent on my boat.

Actually $$$$$$$. Yes, lots of money. Worth every penny to me. I have the PP Micro on my Gheenoe and it's just a good.
