Does anyone have an idea as to how many are entered in the Red Trout tourny at this point? Just trying to figure the odds. Thanks for any info.

Friday
West wind 20 to 25 knots...becoming northwest around 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 5 to 7 feet. Protected waters rough decreasing to a moderate chop to choppy in the afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms. :o

If it does that Saturday it will just be another typical tournament day like it has been the past 2 years. I think I have fished 4 tournaments out of 70 or so the last 2 years with good weather.

Very, very true. North wind with a negative tide will make it quite interesting too.

:smt005 It is going to be a fun one. You are right JT. Guess the strong incoming tide is going to be a trickle. Glad I'm not fishing out of Carrabelle or to the far East for that matter. With the the current weather condition what will be the winning combined weight???

With good conditions I was thinking that 12.5- 13lbs would take it. Now I am thinking more like 14 to 15lbs. :smt005

Here's the latest boat count - we have 43 pre-registered boats and we'll probably add some more with late (wed. at Kevin's) & final registration (Fri. at C-quarters Marina). Just wanted to remind all registered anglers that someone from their team must attend and sign the attendance sheet at either the captains meeting on Wednesday at Kevin's or on Friday at C-Quarters. Both meetings will take place at 7:00 pm. Their will be a Gulf 104 live remote at Kevin's from 5:00 - 7:00 pm on Wednesday and we will also be taking late registrations during that time period.

Also, don't forget about the bikini contest on Thursday, Oct. 15, 8:00 pm at Pockets Pool & Pub. PTTS host Joe Mercurio will be the emcee and Blair Wiggins, Carey Chen, Kevin Fenn & Beau Turner will be the judges. This event will be a guaranteed good time! Get your hall pass and come join us at Pockets.

Will the tournament be postponed if there is a small craft advisory on Saturday?

Let's hope not. The rivers are safe in any conditions and if you do make it to flat you could just get out and stand if things get to rough.
