A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
Ain't scurred, EK! How bout this...You and I can put together a 3 tournament series for June, July and August (not associated with NFGFC). We'll fish for redfish (2 man teams, 2 fish 18-27" weighed). It'll be open to anyone and we'll keep track of the weights for the 3 month series. It'll be pretty informal, low entry fees ($25 bucks a team, $5 per person for a big fish pot) and at the end someone will have bragging rights! We'll talk more about it as the time draws closer. Team Hog is in. Bring the noise Back Country and No Fluke![/quote]
Seriously considering it. Heck, kinda feel obligated at this point. Yes it will be cold and yes it will be BREEZY but we have a perfect tide for an early morning Red bite. Just don't get to shallow as that 8am morning low will be more like an 11:30am low given the North wind.
Oh, and the water is stained so they won't be so DAYUM finicky. Decisions, decisions.......may need to on it.

No, No, if your going make it from safe daylight to lets sat 2:30pm thats when we all would have been out there and don't stretch the truth about what you catch
As for ya'lls little side bet if possible I could make one of those,,,I could use the extra cash $$
I'm in.
My suggestion is central meeting place. Put ramp names in a hat from Keaton to Carrabelle. Draw one out and everyone has to fish there.
Oh,thats' right,Keyser doesn't know how to fish anywhere but St.Marks. So I guess this won't work.

I'll vote for Lanark. Let's see who's boat will float.

Artificial only? If so, Me and Dad are in!!
I come from a small drinking community with a fishing problem
I'll play pending release of the actual dates. While I like the concept of ramp redfish tourneys, seems like we may be infringing on the JBT redfish efforts.
Maybe nextweek after Valentine's Day ya'll won't be wound so tight
ahhhh, Keyser's probably already sleeping in for his early morning...nevermind.
In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.
