				Tom, he told me I won't need a place to sit. He says I'll be on the back, poling him around.
We'll see.

				Chalk,
Have you wet this vessel yet.
I have had the fever to do the same thing for a while. Now that I'm back home and not on the road anymore. I hope to get the chance.

				Not yet Ty...to busy buying jack plates, four blade props and other stuff that seems to draw my attention away from it....It's waiting on me as usual...just need a litttle fiberglass and epoxy and it will be ready for painting and rigging (that sure was easy to say

 )

Ty, to put it into perspective, the boat needs some glass, an interior (seats, boxes, etc....), a motor and trailer, some electromics, and electrical stuff (running lights, etc....), a couple of batteries and a trolling motor. I figure another couple of years and between $5000 and $8000, and he'll be done.
BTW, he assured me we would be creek hopping in that boat this winter.

Just remember SA, it's all your fault for everything: boat, trolling motor, GPS, rods, reels, jack plate, four blade prop, catching fish

 , well maybe not everything

				Still like the looks of this boat. Don't know that I would cut the bow down quite as much as you have marked in the picture. I know my classic is a little wet in a chop, and having a little more bow would probably cut it down quite a bit. If you want to see what it's like fishing from a similar boat I plan to start gettin my Gheenoe over to Panacea area to do some fishing.

I never pointed a gun at your head and said you had to have any of that stuff.

When are you going to hydraulic steering.

 Would have been fishing a long time ago if you had just bought a new Gheenoe.

But he failed to tell you that the winter of 2010 was the year.

				I ordered 3 gallons of epoxy Friday from uscomposites.com. I did it in a hurry and mistakingly selected the thick epoxy, which is good for making paste but not good for laminating. I got a call from Mark at uscomposites.com this morning, he had noticed I had ordered before and noticed I always ordered the thin epoxy. He called to make sure I really wanted the thick epoxy, which I didn't. Excellent customer service, you don't see that too much these days.

Ty here is some links describing the process we were talking about Saturday -
