Butch and I went to the Big Bend Saltwater Classic pre-tournament party and fundraiser at the fairgrounds last night. We had a table of 8 near the stage where we could get a good view of the Gaff girls.
We had also put money in a envelope to be drawn for a table upgrade to the Captain's Table,right in front of the stage. How lucky can you be? They drew our number. Along with the table came 8 spinning rods and reels and 8 tackle bags full of goodies. The luck didn't stop there.
When the auction drawings began our table also won 2 more rod and reel combos a tackle bag full of more goodies a pair of VanStaal titanium pliers and a pair of Steiner binoculars.
If our luck holds over for the tournament we won't be able to stand it.
Oh yea. We had beef tenderloin for dinner. It was delicious.
