Rigging a gulp under a CT

When floating my new gulp skrimps under my CT do I use a circle hook, jig head, other, etc? Thanks! 
just tie it on the end of the line, but you have to use a split bimini twist on 28# flourocarbon... shoot some WD40 on it too.
(a jig head would work OK)
