Trailering?

How often should one repack bearings? I have a loadmaster that Tide~dancer "The Man!" hooked me up with about two years ago. It's probably been in salt water about 15 times, fresh water about 10, and probably has about 5,000 miles on it.
I load the bearings with grease about every 2-3 trips to Keaton, or about every 4-500 miles.
Should I remove and repack? What say ye?

I would just pop off whatever kind of caps you have and check the color of the grease. If it's clean, I would tap the caps back on and add more. If it's been contaminated I would replace the races when I repack.
But that's just me. One of the guys with more trailer experience might know better.

If you don't have bearing buddys, I used to repack mine annually as a part of my spring check up each year.
