Decided to give SW a try yesterday. Looked at the tides and didn't leave Valdosta until 6:30 AM. Got to the landing at SW around 8AM. Sure didn't look like much of a tide. Ran toward the Rock and set up drifting. Trout were scattered and small. Fished out and fished in and finally managed 3 nice keeper trout, one very nice spainish, one broken line from cobia with somewhere else on his mind and a scrappy blue. Fished the bars on the way back in, but didn't see any red movement at all. Did I mention that it was HOT. Wind died when the tide when slack and I think you could have cooked an egg on your forehead.
Oh well, it was a beautiful day on the water!
