FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS EXTENDING FROM THE CAYMAN ISLANDS NORTHWARD
ACROSS CUBA AND THE BAHAMAS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER-LEVEL LOW
OVER THE STRAITS OF FLORIDA AND A SURFACE TROUGH EXTENDING FROM THE
FLORIDA PENINSULA SOUTHWARD TO THE NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN. THIS
ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO DRIFT NORTHWESTWARD OVER FLORIDA TONIGHT
AND THURSDAY. THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION AT
THIS TIME.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
THURSDAY.
It's been kinda quiet so far... like a looming feeling....

That's nice :( . I was going to take Thurs/Fri off and try St. Mark's. Looks like Thurs is going to be ugly and Fri has chance of T-Storms as well. Might as well go to work (since I would have been putting some work off anyway to go).

Looks to be a similar pattern of a couple of weeks ago. Most got some very beneficial rain and little storm development. Hopefull thisn will be the same.

Canvassed both kids (19 (boy) and 16 (girl)), and both say they're still in :o . Probably going to take the chance.....not often the stars line up with the kids to do something together for a couple days. Thursday appears to be a wash, so we will just have to sit the storms out and wait for windows of opportunity on Fri and potentially Sat. Wonder if I can keep them awake/interested enough to try a night trip to the flats?
