composite props?

With all the rocks in this areas, do any of you guys run one of these on your motor?

No, and the reason is that if you even "touch" a rock with those composites, it is toast, no repairing it, also, if you get it in sand, it will wear off to a hub quickly. If you regularly are in rocky areas, I would use aluminum(I personally like Solas, they are 90 bux each) or if you are really careful, go for the stainless.
The aluminum ones can take a good bit of punishment and still get you home, plus can be repaired fairly cheaply. I personally have not had a lot of experience with stainless, but if you got the bux to spend, they can be repaired also. I do know the stainless will transfer a lot more of the shock from a rock directly to your driveline before breaking.

I fish Aucilla River regularly and I have had a stainless prop for 25 years. I have never had to replace or have worked on...my prop. Now I have had 3 skags replaced during that time....but never a prop.
I agree with the comments on the composite. It's not for around here.
