Sat. morning I was throwing a Redfin for a while. Had a Mongo Red just explode the water after it... nothing. Later had several more just knock it around and not get it.These were all reds cuz I saw them. Actually had 2 different ones actually swim up, head out of water, and look at it and then go away. Now that may sound crazy to some but I'm sure it has happened to others.

What say you?

I've also had it happen with trout. When it does, go to a weightless soft jerk bait, and slow it down.

Catchin, Keep your bait moving. I've noticed that if you pause he'll often times lose interest. Exactly opposite with trout. They usually like it sitting still.

Yea BD I'd keep it moving, and they'd come try it again.
TC, I did swap out to my jig.
