Methinks this long-overlooked piece of fishing equipment needs some discussion. :D

Do you think these could be mounted on the underside of a glassed livewell lid to hold a bait net (dip net) in place so it didn't bounce around or get misplaced?

what about these?

Dude, you're dying for that boat huh? I don't see why that wouldn't work. Just make sure the dipnet is all plastic. My boats previous owner kept a partially metal dipnet in the livewell. You can imagine what that looks like. :-? I wouldn't want you to mess up that pretty ride.

Why not just epoxy some velcro strips to the underside. I assume you would drill those you are showing correct?

I have those for storing my running light when not in use. How big is the handle of your dip net?

If your referring to a bait net...I would use this one, no glueing, drilling or screwing required......ezpz...The fallacy with a holder is that you have to put it in it, if you don't then it's not the holders fault :-D

Floating Bait net

If you really want a dip net for fish then you need to goto Chicago and get one of these

I was going to try and epoxy them on to the baitwell lid's underside and stay away from drilling.

I think the bait net is 3/4 inches across the handle but I would have to measure at the house.

Those pole holders are designed to hold your light so it doesn't bounce around while you are running/trailering.

I use the floating bait net Chalk is talking about,When fishing just leave it floating in the livewell dip up your bait & drop it back in  .Wilson's bait & tackle in Perry,Fl. has them for 2.95 or 3.95 I can't remember which.

luke just throw it in the splash well of that new Hewes. She rides so smooth it will stay there.
