THE ONLY KEEPER OF THE DAY....

MANY SMALL BLUES DEVOURED TWO PACKS OF GRUBS AND SAIL CATS WERE HITTING ON TOPWATER. BEAUTIFUL DAY UNTIL THE WIND STOPPED AND THE RAIN STARTED. TOO HOT TO FISH...TOO HOT TO CATCH JUST ONE KEEPER.

MY YOUNGEST SON , DAVID, TRIED TO TEACH ME HOW TO POST PICS ON THIS BLAME MACHINE BUT I JUST DO NOT SEEM TO CATCH IT. I AM GLAD WE WERE ABLE TO GET IN A FISHIN TRIP , HAD FUN AND WONDERFUL TIME EVEN IF THE TROUT WERE NOT ON A GOOD BITE.

I THOUGHT I WOULD SEE SOME GOOD REPORTS OF CATCHIN FOR TODAY. LOOKS LIKE EVERYONE DID ABOUT LIKE WE DID FRI. WHERE HAVE THE TROUT GONE TO. HAVE HAD ONLY ONE REALLY GOOD DAY THIS YEAR AND THAT WAS THE FIRST TRIP WE TOOK IN THE STARCRAFT.

Earl, good to see you after 'em. I saw the photo and thought you'd finally got the hang of the photo/posting thing. I still have some pics of you and your buddy Carl. I was planning to use them as evidence in case someone disputed your catch, but it looks like you have some more proof now. :)

I sat it out this week, might get after them sometime next week, depending on what Ernesto does. :(

HEY MUDRUCKER, YOU MIGHT BE RIGHT. I HATE TO THINK WHAT BABE WOULD DO IF I BROUGHT ANOTHER BOAT HOME TO REWORK, SHE HAS PUT (HER FOOT DOWN) ON ANY NEW PROJECTS TILL I FINISH THE TWO I AM WORKING ON NOW.

Pa....try fishing closer to shore. I've had the best summer fishing down there where you fish...in over 10 years....but I stay within 2miles of shore...mostly within 1000 yds. You don't have to be in 5-9 feet of water in the summer to catch trout...and close in...when you can find some rocks...you can almost always catch a good red. :-?
