Boat Test

I water tested a Scout 170 Costa, with a Yamaha 115 four stroke, today.
With just me in the boat, it floated in less than 8" of water.
It will get up and run in less than 18" of water. Once running, the boat will run in 12" of water.
I ran the boat 31 miles and burned 3.1 gallons of gas.
The boat is a very stable fishing platform.
I think I'll keep it.

So, lets see--- 31 miles on 3.1 gal = basically 10 miles to the gallon PLUS ! a good lookin boat too

Heck man, I'm only gettin bout 5 mpg's w/ my 60 hp Yammie, 4-stroke. Whats up with that ?
