I hate that it will hit anywhere but it looks like Tallahassee is in the clear.
Can you guys believe that last year we were on storm #11 right now?

LOOKS LIKE IT WILL GET PRETTY CLOSE TO OUR LAKE PLACE. I HOPE IT GETS OUTTA HERE BEFORE FRI. ALL THE KIDS AND GRANDKIDS ARE TO MEET UP AT THE GRANDIN LODGE FRI. EVENING FOR THE LABOR DAY RETREAT.

They keep moving the forecasted tract further and further east...pretty soon, it is going to look like a circle....which is fine by me

Wevans, it does look a bit spooky but some times the rain bands can be misleading as to the center of circulation. Based on the 11am info and if it hooks like it's supposed to

it may still be following the projected route/cone of probability.

SR, if you look at how the rain bands circulate around the eye, you can tell exactly where it is and in which direction it's headed

and while I can't show you the info that I get from a certain site

lets just say that from what I see of the steering currents and the lack of a strong wind shear, that it will be stronger and affect the West coast more than predicted

Still has time to turn North and then East again...hopefully. I sure wouldn't mind the rain but the wind can stay away.
