You ever go up there to Striper fish Dewey? Thinking about giving it a try in January, after all the Holliday hoohah and before tax season gets cranked up.

Never fished the savannah system at all!!
Shoalbrother is going fishing for stripers on Lanier on monday.
The guide he went with on Clarks Hill a couple of weeks ago has a good reputation and charges like $200.00 a day for two people.
I can get his info if you want me to.

I got the guys web address from Shoalbrother. Seems like a deal to me considering what most guides charge. I wonder where he puts in? Clarks Hill is a big lake.

I have no idea and it IS a large body of water.
I think they mostly troll and that just ain't my cup of tea.
I don't mind fishing with livies but I just dont't like to troll unless there is a chance to catch a wahoo, dolphin, or something with a bill on the front of his face
BTW, Are you keeping the whitetail population thinned out in Meriweather Co. ??

Nah, just a deer, I check the yard every morning before work to see if there are any out there. They don't seem to take a hint.
My varmint weapon of choice is a Remington 700 in .257 Roberts. It's a deer killin' machine if you can hit them.
