Keaton, 9/23/06

After talking to a few folks at the ramp, then reading the other reports, maybe we didn't do so bad after all.
Hit the water at 10, went south in the vicinity of the #2 rack most of the day. One red at 19.5", two trout, one at 18.5", one at 17.5". Also had the other assorted stuff... short bsb, a few pins, and a small shark.
Water temperature stayed in the 80* range all day, and NOAA had it right... 10-15 the better part of the day, with a little (bried) lull to 5-10 about 1:00.
First ever keeper red (never had one in the slot before). Never caught a red "on the flats" at Keaton before, either.
