Sloooow day at St. Marks. 1st in at the LH. Fished the last of the fall in the East River, St. Marks River and the flats in front of the LH. Lucked into 2 flounder and 3 , 17-18" trout, all caught on a gold spoon. No reds. Just as the tide began to turn, a storm put me on the trailer. Beat working. Can't wait til next time.

Bird dog I took my mom Sunday after a hell of a hangover from our party Sat. night. Made it down yonder around 8 in the am. decided to go east since the masses seem to be going west. Saw a truck with RTHFISH on it but have not heard is report. We did well on trout and reds. It was by no means easy. Fished deep fished super shallow fished medium shallow found most of the fish in 3.5-4.5. She hooked a 100+ pound tarpon in 3 feet. Besides the look on my moms face it was one of the cooler things I've seen. It looked like someone turned on a blender. All in all not as hot as it will be in a few weeks but, can't complain. :smt004 :smt004 :smt004 :smt004
