It was one of those days that the end results seemed better than the day seemed. This report want help much if someone is researching how to catch the fish. My son-in-law and myself were second at the ramp (Approx. 6:15AM). Headed out and went way west. Wind suprisingly strong out of the North early then laid down mid morning. To make a long story not as long, we ended up with 7 keepers to 18". No pattern to any catching. One here, one there. One with this bait, one with that bait. It was my son-in-law's first trip to the falts. I think he enjoyed it and I always do. Saw "Ty One on", "Skeeter2", & "Atticus" all with thier really nice boats. (Sorry to hear about the hand Atticus). Caught on Candy corn and Gulps of different colors. Several short trout and a 13" Red to go along with the seven keepers. On the trailer about 2PM. I did fulfill my plan of being in my recliner with a belly full of caught, cleaned, and cooked trout by Dawgs game time which is where I sit writing this. Almost halftime and Dawgs looking weak again this game.
I'll be back soon.......

Good seeing you today Welby. Sorry I didn't hang-out and shoot the carp.
Good deal - you got a few fish for the grease.

oh yeah, I almost forgot, my depth finder showed a water temp of 72 to 74 degrees all day. That seemed awful low to me. Did anyone else get some temp readings today ?

Yeah, but we did come out running the ball in the 2nd half. We needed to do that!

Water temp was 72 at the lighthouse yesterday. We've had some very cool nights lately.

Man I got to get out there. That's a good temp and I have no fish in the freezer. WCTV still has it in the 80's. 7 fish in the box for two people is a great day to me.
