Hmm... ok. I'll try it this way...

Does anyone know of a reputable Johnson Warranty Service Department in a reasonable driving distance from Tallahassee.

Both Advanced Marine "Medart" and Mike's marine "Panacea" do very good work

don't know about those in Tally

PS: Not sure if Mike's does Johnson work any more

Mike's says they don't and says Advanced isn't certified yet. Don's or Shields in the immediate area.

Don's Boats located on Hwy 20,Tallahassee in the former Bellflower Boats building is certified and does Johnson repairs under warranty. Ask for Chris. He has been a Johnson/Evinrude mechanic for years. He's as good as Wayviel.

I will not take mine to Don's. Been there, done that. Don't even want the t-shirt.

I have heard good things about Shell Island, but did not realize they were an Authorized BOMB dealer/shop. I have heard good and bad about Shields, but never dealt with them. I had planned to give them a shot if anything went wrong on the ETEC. I am in the same boat as you.
