10-7 flats fishing

Due to the low tide early Saturday and commitments in the early evening hours, I launched for the first time from the Fort at St. Marks about 9:30AM. I really enjoyed the ride out but decided to ride back toward Aucilla where I had enjoyed some recent success. It was a lot like last Saturday, lots of wind early then it laid down and became a beautiful day on the water. As for the fishing, again like last Saturday, no real pattern but a keeper here and there. We ended up with 6 keeper trout to 19". Most on jigs and grubs under CT's. Ran out of time before I got a chance to get in the creeks, maybe next time. We did have some action with a shark, a big sail cat, and some short trout. Most of our action was in 3-4 feet of water.
