Could only fish am today. So, left lighthouse early with a friend and found a strong N. Wind on the water. Blowing 15-20mph all morning with negative tide at 9:40. Thus, no water anywhere close. Fished shallow flats all morning with fast drift. Managed 11 keepers to 23" (released this one) but kept 10 nice fish including a 3lb 21". Never threw anything but TW and found trout in holes. 'Bout time enough water pushed its way in for reds nearshore (2:00pm) we had to head to the hill, but not so soon I didn't manage a 22" red.

BD and TK had just shown up and had 1 red when we left. Windy but a nice morning on the water.

Can't wait till next time

Caught that 1 red out near Grey Mare. :o Go figure. He looked lost. WTG on the trout. I don't remember the last good trout day I've had a St. Marks.

WAY TO GO BIRDDOG, IT IS HARD TO FISH WHEN YA GOT A STRONG WIND, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE CURRENT AND TIDE ARE HEADIN THE OTHER DIRECTION. CONGRATS ON THE GREAT CATCH.
PA THE OLD MAN OF THE SEA :D :D :D :D

I was out there yesterday and it was 74 - 78 according to my temp sensor.

Nice report RS. Glad to hear that the trout are turning on for the fall
