When you guys fish with LY's do you cut them or just hook the whole thing and let it fall to the bottom? Also where do you hook the LY?

Cut them in half diagonally. Hook the head through one eye then out through the top of the head. Hook the body though the mid section in the back trying to pierce the backbone.

I try and make the diagonal cut at such an angle as to not cut the guts, also I switch it up sometimes and don't put the hook thru the eye, I think fish might like to see the eyes, but it might just be me.
