If you're down around Shields marina service area, look for my rig. I thinks its the one with cobwebs forming on it.
11 days and counting.

Thanks, wevans. I think.
I took it in Saturday a week ago. They said "We'll probably get to it this week". Called this past Saturday and "Um, what were we doing to it, again?". At which point, I started rapidly tapping my foot like the little martian on Bugs Bunny.
"We'll probably get to it this week."
I've never been seperated from my boat before. I'm in pain.

I feel yer pain

when Mike's kept mine for 6 weeks, they didn't think it was that long of a time ta keep a boat

Six weeks??? To borrow a line from Oh, Brother Where Art Thou - "Holy weepin' Jesus on the cross".
I feel a Yosemite Sam moment comin' on.

Stopped in at Shields while at the Stone Crab Festival on Saturday.
Brett Shields had worked on my tilt problem the previous day but could not duplicate the problem. He took the wife and I out to the boat and showed us in detail what he checked and what we should do to troubleshoot should it occur again. Other topics discussed were kids, cats, the history of the marina, his competition in Tallahassee, Dennis flooding and service in general.
They are 1.5 weeks behind in service due to health issues with a couple of techs.
Although my service problem was not duplicated, I give them high marks in "customer service".

6 weeks

Did they need to pull it from the bottom of the gulf?
I haven't had my rig for very long--is 6 weeks normal, or is it a bit long? I hope that is a bit long, because I seriously don't think I could be away from my sweetheart for that long
Heck, I would probably just grab a set of oars and paddle her around the gulf before I left her for that long.

Just hope you don't need service in the summertime.
