Eased down the river around dark to our first spot this morning....
Threw skitterwalks early and caught 3 decent reds.... all in 2- 3 feet.
Caught a 2 HUGE snot cats also... managed 8 keeeper trout on gulps in 3 feet.
Buddy caught a 9 lb Jack on a top dog jr... foul hooked him so he had quite a fight...
One of the reds I caught had a chunk taken out of em around his gill at some point..
Back home at noon... not too bad a day.

Nice job. Wish I could have gotten out this weekend. That gill plate is crazy. Amazing what injuries a fish can sustain and still keep tickin'.

Hey REDFIN...good to see you at Anky!
That jack was unreal! I suspect his arms ached after playing with that big ole boy!
Fished up near Aucilla on top of tide and got a nice limit of trout
including a 26" and a bonus red. Pretty day on the water for sure!
