A couple of months ago, my buddy and I took our boys fishing in one of the "secret creeks". We landed over 30 reds, most in the 20''-23" range. My 4 year old landed his first red on his own and it turned out to be a 24" beauty. So thrilled the two of us were, that we swung by Jerry's for a photo. I mentioned the desire to capture this fish and that day with having it mounted. He led me to Tim Gordon. Yesterday I picked up the mount and was very impressed. The detail and coloring were perfect and Mr. Gordon was even kind enough to place the fish on a plaque with my sons name and the date the fish was caught. If you're in the market for a taxidermist, I highly recommend Tim Gordon, ask around at Jerry's for his number.

If you were impressed, then keep that taxidermist!! Tax's are artists and every piece is art to them. I've had all kinds of wildlife that we're not done to my standard from fish to deer heads and some that struck my eye.

It's like a good rod and reel combo.. If you find it.. Keep it!

Every Tax is great! They just have there're own touch.

Great ones are hard to find. I'm still looking for a new one after mine died of cancer. (JP Adams) The first one to make a mechanical deer for the GA government (Bucky). Good man, just died an unfortunate death.
