FLUTTERBY FEST

St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge celebrates 75 years of existence at the annual Monarch Butterfly Festival from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The fest features a live butterfly tent, a plant sale, hands-on crafts activities for the kids, exhibits, butterfly tagging demonstrations and more. Those in the know are predicting that this year will be a banner year for monarchs, with a bumper crop of the lovely insects making the migration through our area on the way to Mexico.

I THINK PEOPLE WILL BE DISAPPOINTED, WHILE WE WERE DONE THERE LAST WED. WE ONLY SAW 2 MONARCH'S. ONE DIDN'T LAST LONG, HE LIT ON THE WATER AN SOMETHING INHAILED HIM IN A HEART BEAT, THE OTHER WAS ON THE RAIL AT THE RANGER OFFICE.
I GUESS THE COLD WIND BLEW THEM ALL AWAY.
