I was supposed to meet TinCan at the LH this morning and we were going to fish together but separately in 2 boats. Well I got there before daylight and he was already gone. By the time I reached the pre-determined redfishing hole, he had done caught 'em all and let all the water out of the pond.

So I spent the rest of the day catching trout and looking for reds on the flats. Lucked into 2 reds but saw probably 15. Had a few more hooked but they came unglued.

Managed to put 12 trout in the boat, all 19"ers. I suspect it was the same fish 12 times since I was thowing them back.

Caught 'em all on a certain topwater bait. Beautiful day out there today. Can't wait til next time. 8)

...seemed like a "fisherman's tale" to me. If I wasn't catchin' bass b/c I was too busy catchin' reds then... ;-)
