launched about 7:30, high tide, caught some pinfish, then rolled out to 35-40 and started trolling. picked up a short gag pretty quick, then not much else. Tried a couple more areas trolling, nada. Went to some structure and quickly picked up a 28" spanish then a 38" cobia, and lost a big king at the boat . started dropping pins on the bottom, to no avail, then some nice person got about 30 yds from us and dropped a marker and started fishing, so we picked up (thank you, whoever you are, all that damn ocean and you have to get right on top of us, Gulf Runner) and picked up another short gag, then on the last pass before we headed in, hooked into a big cobia (48") and it has 7 of it's friends w/ it so we put a pinfish in beside it and hooked into a 44", Double Cobia . there was a really big one following them the whole time, prolly 60", but we already had 3, but maybe, in hindsight, we sould have hooked big daddy and let one of the smaller ones go, but...
