A buddy and I launched from the Fort today expecting to fish in the rivers all day due to the wind. Well the wind never showed up and we found ourselves almost to the Aucilla riding an incoming tide towards some promising looking redfish territory. Boated 14 redfish to 28" ( most were in the 20" range) and 5 trout to 19". Caught'em on topwater and spoons. Can't wait til next time.

Heck of a nice guy that Birddog

That was a pretty good ride from the Fort to the Aucilla. Sounds like you did have time to stop along the way and fish a bit. Good job.

Do I detect jealousy?
Good luck, Welby. Stay close to the grass and chunk a spoon. You'll find'em.
