Fishing with kids ought to be its own separate category.
My wife had a couple of projects due so I had the solo mission with my 4 & 6 year old girls.
Like they say, you go when you can go.
As always, the quest with kids is for them to have a really good time and then beg to go back.
No altruistic intent there. (Suber, just look it up)
I don’t have a “boatâ€

I took my kids and a friend to the Bay Saturday. We fished in the canal first and had two break offs. Then when the water quit running out so hard, we ran into the Bay. Saw schools of trout, but no takers. Then the starter on my boat screwed up again and my little girl wanted to call it a day, so we came back fishless.

Beautiful day to be on the water though!
