Fishing on the flats this weekend proved to be very good for my wife and me. Friday she out fished me, 4 trout to 2, her biggest trout 20 inches, on Berkley Gulp shrimp, but.... Saturday I caught my limit and a one of hers on a shallow diver Bomber Long A, 6 trout to 3, the largest trout 22". Sunday was a little too breezy to fish, but Econfina has some of the friendliest folks in the world to visit with, so the visiting was even better than the fishing.
