Went to Sports Authority and picked up some shells.

Did you guys know there is a $10 off $50 Sports Authority coupon in the freshwater fishing reg book?
And a 25 off 75 West Marine coupon.

Both expire Dec 31st.
I hate to think of the money I have lost not know about the coupons- and they have the regs with the coupon right in the store!

Speaking of that--last year on Thanksgiving Day only, Sports Authority had a coupon (in the store and local papers) that was good for 25% off your entire order. I picked up a new Stradic for about the same price I had previously paid for my Symmetre!

Does anyone know if they are running the same deal this year?

You don't realise how fortunate you are in the US that fishing and hunting tackle is sold through a wide range of Retailers (as well as the Internet).
This level of competition is why you have special offer coupons and keener prices than us (on exactly the same items).

All of our hunting equipment is only sold through specialist Retailers (price fixers) and whilst the fishing gear is wider spread, its only the very poor quality end of the ranges that are sold in multiple outlets.

Thats why I bring an empty suitcase on our Trips over.
