Hey everyone, i just joined and love to fish, although dont get to very often because im a full-time student at FSU and work part-time. I wanted to ask, can anyone point me out to a good fresh and saltwater spot, somewhere reasonably close to the university area as i just moved here and dont know where any spots are.

Salt water: For wading off the shore: Wakulla Beach, St. Marks Lighthouse jetties, beaches and back bays at St. George Island State Park.
Piers: Mashes Sands Park, Old St. George Island Bridge pier.

Fresh Water: Can't help much there.

Luck,

EJ

Fresh water in Tally = Lake Talquin
The only spot EJ left off was Bald point for salt

I suggest getting a Florida Atlas and Gazatteer (its big and red) It has backroads, landings, and camp sites. Amazon has them and so does Walmart. You can find your way anywhere with these things.
