The day before @ Econfina , 11/24

After inviting Tom & Rick for Saturday, I figured I best go fishing on Friday and look around a little. I worked a 21ft spot for a couple of hours, broke one off and boxed one around 15lbs on an LY. I figured there were a few fish here but kinda shallow and the clear water had them skittish so I figured we might come back tormorrow and dive on them. Off I went trolling. Came across some nice new bottom to check out later on , just easing along enjoying the nice weather when I noticed the bottom machine light up. I told my son Ben to hang on we're fixing to get bit. Sure enough a few seconds later 2 rods bent over. Not long after that and were were limited out. Ran over the spot and it still showed lit up. I've done this before , came back the next day and nothing but you never know. I called Tom Friday night just to get him excited, guess it worked, I was still asleep when he arrived ! What a weekend ! I ended up with 42 lbs of grouper fillets. Not bad but i'm still ready to go !
