I am a newbie here but been browsing for awhile and thought this is a cool website.I figure that I would post my trip from friday.
I left mashes sands at 9:30 and headed south east.I don't have many #'s because I just bought my first offshore boat at the beginning of summer. But I'am familiar with the area around here and been many times.Anyways I started trolling in 35'to45' and marked good bottom within 30 min. When at the same time we hooked into a 29" gag.I marked and anchored on it and immediately caught 2 gags at 24" and around 14 red grouper between 20" to 27"
to bad for the 1 per person
.They seemed to bite only spanish sardines and wouldn't touch the LY's or squid. It was a great day and always have fun to be out there.
Total for the day was
3 gags at 29" 24" 24"
4 red grouper at 27" 23" 22" 22"
Forgot the camera so I have no pictures maybe next time I will remember.
