OK all you folks who've spent more time in the sun than you should have,
gather round and let me know if you've had some skin cancers removed and if you have a recommendation for someone in Tallahassee.

While in Oklahoma visiting my Son for Thanksgiving, I had an occasion to accompany him to his. While there, the Doctor ask me if there was anything I'd like him to look at. I told him about a spot on my back that in the past 6 months or so, seem to have started itching when ever it was touched. 10 minutes after he saw it .... it was gone. He was positive it was Basal Cell Carcinoma and that was confirmed today with the lab results. He believes he removed it all. However, I've been depending on my General physician to detect any problem areas when I have my regular 6 mo physical. I would like to establish a relationship with a good physician who could concentrate just on early detection and removal of skin cancers.

Let me know if you have any recommendations. Thanks.

I've been taking a on-line course. I would be happy to do it for you.

I'll keep your offer in mind  However, considering your work that I've seen.... I'll wait to see what other options become available. Even though I'm not much to look at .... I still don't want to end up look'n like the bottom of Birddog's boat :o

Is that as good as staying in a "Holiday Inn Express"?
If so, I'm qualified... :-D

I went to Dr Cogneta over on Riggins and recomend him, nice guy. My Wife's Aunt is the head nurse over there and he helped us out before we had benefits when I was still in school. I think the name of the office is Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee. Now's a good time the waiting list gets kinda long in the summer.

Dr. Armand Cognetta at Derm. Assoc. has tended me on two occassions, one son on another and my fair skinned Dad NUMEROUS (20+) times.

He may give you to an understudy but will take personal interest.

Oh, and don't be suprised when you catch him studying the details of your skin while you think you're having a normal conversation with him. He'll kinda remind you of the best bird dog you've ever seen working...

Mention that you've had the lab done already and need to get in...

(good to have you back)

Dr Caldwell has taken a few chunks out of my face. I'm very satisfied with his work.
