I had a great day. I shot my first double and I shot the "cull" buck right handed and I shot the doe left handed. Doe was shot at 6:45am and the buck at 7:15am. Pulled my 1st double for an AM hunt and did it shooting from both arms. The Browning 270 found it's mark both times and they both dropped like a rock. My Dad shot at 7:30 so I figured it was time to get out of the stand and start work.

Sounds Tasty-
Just had Goose in red wine and veggies from the crockpot!

Are you hunting up in GA? There seem to be a million deer in North Ga.

Well, what I call south Ga... Jones & Jasper county (home of Trisha Yearwood) is where I hunt. This is actually 2 of the 3 I've shot this year but the only one's I got pics of.... Shot a nice buck opening weekend but I have no pics. I'll have a mount later which I'll post now that I've got a new digi cam...

Didnt see squat. I shot a doe earlier inthe season to fill the freezer, but havent seen much since. It may have something to do with the feeder I keep hearing from the lease next to us. :smt013 Not to mention the guy we found trespassing from the lease on the other side of us. :smt013 :smt013

That sucks! Go over during mid week with your camera and let the local game warden know about the feeder and the trespasser. Next time you see him give a little freindly fire and scare the crap out of him. That's just a shame! :smt013

Nice...a double! Shot two does this year (separate times), and had about 20 pounds of sausage made :lick: Can't beat a doe for the table.
