I had a great day. I shot my first double and I shot the "cull" buck right handed and I shot the doe left handed. Doe was shot at 6:45am and the buck at 7:15am. Pulled my 1st double for an AM hunt and did it shooting from both arms. The Browning 270 found it's mark both times and they both dropped like a rock. My Dad shot at 7:30 so I figured it was time to get out of the stand and start work.
Some more chili will be made this week!!

Sounds Tasty-
Just had Goose in red wine and veggies from the crockpot!
Are you hunting up in GA? There seem to be a million deer in North Ga.

Well, what I call south Ga... Jones & Jasper county (home of Trisha Yearwood) is where I hunt. This is actually 2 of the 3 I've shot this year but the only one's I got pics of.... Shot a nice buck opening weekend but I have no pics. I'll have a mount later which I'll post now that I've got a new digi cam...

Didnt see squat. I shot a doe earlier inthe season to fill the freezer, but havent seen much since. It may have something to do with the feeder I keep hearing from the lease next to us.

Not to mention the guy we found trespassing from the lease on the other side of us.

That sucks! Go over during mid week with your camera and let the local game warden know about the feeder and the trespasser. Next time you see him give a little freindly fire and scare the crap out of him. That's just a shame!

Nice...a double! Shot two does this year (separate times), and had about 20 pounds of sausage made

Can't beat a doe for the table.
