I got out to the HWY 90 landing late due to cold weather, Friday night, and other reasons. I wasn't really expecting to fish too much and if so, not expecting to catch too much. To be honest, I wasn't in too good of shape. I mainly went out to cruise around and spend some time out on the river. There was Crappie Clinic going on in the river. Boats were around every corner. Every time I looked, someone was pulling out a Slab. Just a little FYI. :smt006

The river is red hot. The fish are biting like crazy. Best I've seen in 3 years. We caught fish on minnows tightlined 12-15 ft. Many limits being reported. Water temp in river 50-55 degrees F. Time to getum.
