Hit the ramp about 8:30AM. Wind blowing and cold but not as many people as I expected at the landing. My buddy and I caught probably 50 or more Reds in the river like the one below. Most were between 14 & 18 inches though we did bring home out keepers. Randy caught this 22" fat trout shortly after we got there and we thought it was gonna be one of those days, but that was it for the trout. Really, really cold but I'm glad I went.

Sounds like we got a heck of a crop of slot reds coming on for next year. Glad you got out there.

Nope, Sold the Keywest and bought a Sea Pro. This time of year it sits home while I fish out of the 15' Jon Boat. 8) And, Yes, I did find some rocks that I had not seen before. It's like they grow down there !!!

I think JT51 goes down there in the winter and moves the rocks around to keep everyone out of his secret fishing holes.... :-D

You sold your Key West and bought a Sea Pro? Hope it works out for you.
