This could be hard to choose. I love seeing people enjoying the great outdoors and hearing the memories that accompany the pictures. I hope this thread will continue if the amount of pictures do not cause someone's computer to melt down!!
This year has been one for the books for me. I have had several first time moments and some life changing news......
Killed my first grand slam on wild turkeys in a single season. That wasn't as specail as the fact that I did it all with friends and self guided. Didn't do any pay hunts to make this happen, just the support of great friends. Also, two of the four were with my dad who gave the appreciation for the outdoors that I have today.
This is an Osceola in South Fla
Merriams in South Dakota just down the road from where Sitting Bull is buried.
May fishing brought on some big trout.
Spent 4 days in Mississippi with my church helping a needy family reroof their house.
Wife and I got to fish together and caught a triple tail... Thats not the real big news. Found out the next day the she was pregnant with our first child. We have had an answered prayer.
She is due in April.
Fall Fishing has been GREAT!! Caught my first Snook and got to see a great friends 8 year old son catch his first redfish and his first flounder AND it was totally unassisted about two weeks apart!! The outdoor addiction has been passed on
Got two nice deer. One on Thanksgiving Day.
And the fishing continues........
Hope 2007 is even better.

Yes it is. I was wondering if you would see the pictures. I made the connection last year when you posted the pictures of the deer you killed. I have been going to chruch with your brother for about 2 years.

2006 was a good year in our house!
My 2 older boys fished their first tournaments:
Kids Win in Port St Joe
BBSC
Then we proceeded to have a great summer along our coast:
My oldest with his first big trout
My middle son with his biggest mac
Time to cool off with my 3 boys at the St Marks sand bar
Wife with our youngest taking a walk on Little St George
Our first camping trip with all the kids. We went with a bunch of friends to the west end of Little St George
And finally a fishing day for just the dads
Really enjoyed '06 and am really looking forward to '07. I hope '07 will be a great year for all of us!
