Seminole hunt with Seatrout99

Braved the 19 degree weather and went with Seatrout99 on a duck hunt on Lake Seminole Saturday. He put my son and me right ON the ducks. Had found their favorite spot on the Flint and they piled into the dekes like I have never seen. And they kept coming till we had shot about every shell we brought.
Now, I couldnt hit the broad side of barn, but thats why I had my son Travis backing me up. We ended up with 10 ringnecks picked up and one hen mallard as a special bonus. Only negative was my "trusty" 1100 failed, then my backup gun failed, but Chris lent me his gun to finish out.
I highly recommend Chris if you want a hunt worth the $. Dont think anyone could know Seminole better. Plus who else serves hto chocolate and hot sausage biscuits heated up on the Go Devil muffler?

Photos to be added, might take a day or two.
Lots of motors had trouble with the weather. All three GDevils launching where we were had to be jumped.

Redbelly,Breast them out, wrap 'em in bacon and throw them on the grill.

Serve with dirty rice and steamed veggies.

Marinade, flatten breast with meat mallet, wrap meat around slice of granny smith apple and a slice of pepperjack cheese, slice of thin bacon around all, and grill quick, hot coals, red rare. Eat entirely. Great!!

Here is how I fix ringers:
1) Cut breasts into chunks about 3/4 x 1 1/2"
2) Make marinade -
chop in food processor: 2 or 3 cloves garlic, 1/2 med onion, rosemary, oregano, basil (I like lots of each)
add 1/4 cup Dales sauce, 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce.
3) Place in ziplock for at least 4 hours (I go overnight) to marinade well.
4) Wrap in 1/2 strip bacon. Place on skewer and broil or grill. Dont overcook, you want pink middle.
This will make any duck taste good. Matter of fact, Im about to have some leftover from last night for lunch.
