[/code]Ok so maybe not quite that many questions

Last year many of you were very helpful when I asked about reels for my boys. We ended up getting the two older boys the zebco 733 and have been very happy with them.

Now their cheap "no name" rods are shot and I'd like to get them better rods. We fish the flats and the boys are 9 & 8 - your suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks

[edit] Bought one Berkley Lightning and one Cherrywood. Both are seven feet, medium action spinning rods and were $28 & $19 respectively. Can't wait for the kids to have a chance to break them in :D

Thanks again for the help!

I've got a Berkley "Lightning Rod" that I've had for a long time. It's held up well. Think they're $25-30.

Like the Lightin Rod- I had one for along time.
The Bass Pro Shops® Graphite Series Trigger Rods are similar and almost always on sale for $19

Or for a more durable option-
the Ugly Stick or Cabela's clone the Whuppin Stick also about $20.

I also like the Berkley CherryWood's. They are a little lighter action to me, than the Lightening Rods. They sell these at Wal-Mart as well, and are fairly inexpensive.

Think somebody else might have already mentioned it, but I like the Berkley Lightning Rod. Easy to find and they won't break the bank.
