I have enjoyed this site for many years now and have finally joined!
I am replacing an old Magellan SporTrack unit and wonder what everyones opinion is between the Garmin 60CSx and 76Csx. They both seem to be identical except for the memory card. Any suggestions? Yes, the main use is boating.

The Dawg knows me too well.
Go with the 76.

I don't know much about the 60 but I have really enjoyed my map76cs. I now keep it with me as a dependable backup.

The 76cx and the 60cx are the same unit with a different cover. Same screen size, same features, etc. I just bought a Lowrance Ifinder H2OC last night and really like it so far. It's taking me a little getting used to, since I've always had Garmins, but definitely like the features and price compared to Garmin. More specs. for less price is a good thing in my book.

The only two things I could find different were that the 76 floats and comes with a 128 microsd card instead of the 64 microsd card the 60 comes with.

Well, my 60CSx arrived a few weeks ago along with a 1gig memory card. It looks like I should be able to store lots of maps, points, routes and tracks. The main reason for choosing the 60 over the 76 was simply just being used to the buttons being below the screen vs. above it. So the design is similar to my previous SporTrack. Thanks for the advice.
