Can anyone recommend a friendly Louisiana Fishing Forum ?
I have done a Google (only read the first page.....don't we all), but can't find anything really specific to Louisiana.
They seem to be covering all the US, one even had an "ice fishing" category

, or they are attached to Sports Shops/Guides.

I can't get on to the louisianasportsman.com website.
I keep getting this message,
"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at
http://www.louisianasportsman.com Port 80"
Is anyone else getting the same problem.
I know they ain't too keen on furriners down that way, but this is a bit exceptional.

Works for me.....It might be a server/spammer issue, Tom has been having issues with spammers from over your way....I believe you can filter certain access by domain...This might be the case for you....You can contact the webmaster and ask him/her -

Works for me too.
Especially the 9 pound trout they are catching over there.

Hey Cran, where were you wanting to fish over there? That place is a fishing paradise! I've fished the Chandeleur Islands a couple of times and it was an awesome trip!!

You are right, it could be a spammer block issue, I hadn't thought of that.
Sharks R Us, I hadn't thought of any specific area, but we passed through part of Louisiana a few years ago, but I didn't fish.
Being a great fan of the writer James Lee Burke, on that trip I wanted to see some of the places he mentioned in his Dave Robicheaux books......I wasn't disappointed.
We could return that way this year in our ramblings and I just wanted to get a feel of the type of fishing, easily available.
